LC CCS vs. LC Waffle Pro

I hope this is in the right area. I am wondering if anyone has experience with Lake Country's CCS pads and their Waffle Pro pads. They are pretty much the same price, although AG offers the CCS a tad cheaper with their pick any 6 bundle ($10 per pad vs. $13). From what I have read the foam structure is the main difference besides the contour of the pads.

    Any thoughts?

The waffle pads are great on a rotary polisher. I like the CCS pads better though because of the flat edge it lets you polish easier in tight areas. The waffle pads run very cool, which is nice. CCS have more options as well as far as different cutting, polishing, and finishing pad choices.

Not sure if the OP is using a rotary or DA. I curious if you have used the Kompresor pads on a rotary, and if so your opinion of them. I know they aren't a long lasting pad, curious about performance compared to some of the other pads.

I have not used the Kompresor pads. Lately I've started using Buff n Shine foam pads. So far they seem to be on par with Lake Country in terms of selection, quality, and performance.

I have one as well. Great machine for the price. My advice would be to fit it with a 5" backing plate and stick with 5.5" pads.

That is my plan, along with a second HF DA fitted with a 3.5" backing plate for a set of 4" LC pads. After doing more research I believe I will be getting the CCS pads. I like the you-pick 6 pack the AG offers.

For CCS pads my favorite are Orange, White, and Black.

Orange works great for compounding and correcting medium depth defects. White is great for light correction, polishing with an all-in-one product, and final polishing for certain paint systems. Black works great for final polishing and applying waxes or sealants.

What about the Buff and Shine pads that are on sale this week? Ever use those? I'm all about saving money, but I don't want a "cheap" pad.
