^I aggree with this. If you did cut through, it won't make it much worse.

My car was egged last year and I cut through the clear trying to clean up the destruction it caused. I put Opti-Lens on the spot, it was the only coating I had at the time, and can still see the high spots today so I'm assuming it is still there protecting it.

So I should apply Meg's #7 and then 26 that might at least cover it up? Should I try spot repairing with something like krylon CC spray and then polish over to blend it in? Or jus go for a repaint?

If you went through the clear, you should see blue paint on the media.

I also agree, at this point you don't have anything to lose by trying to polish. If your not getting any color transfer you shouldn't be through the clear.

Most likely. I don't think there is anything you can do to make it perfect and the more you polish the larger the area will get. It definitely has the typical outline you'd see with a strike through and the way it looks to me it appears like pressure points from your fingers working in a horizontal motion, which is why I asked. I know it's a new car but it's not uncommon for brand new car to have had bumper or other areas repainted from damage in transit or on the lot. They could have easy spot hit an area with color and then recleared the whole panel or blended it in somewhere. If you're not actually getting any color transfer it could be you just struck through the new clear from a repaint and the outline is the OEM clear. Only scenario that makes sense IMO.
