Scratched my tailgate, all better now

After moving an apartment load of furniture 100 miles non stop, I found that the plastic tarp covering the load had broken free and was slapping against my tailgate for the long freeway ride. I was sick to my stomach when I finally stopped.

Today I decided to start fixing the damage and went with the least aggressive approach. To my amazement, the scratches which looked awful in the sunlight polished out very easily. AGO helped me big time on this!

    Equipment used:
    Flex 3401 VRG
    LC Hybrid white pad
Menzerna SF 4500 (I never expected this polish to work so well given the fine cut !)
HBLED light setup per Zach McGovern's thread.

    50/50 shot

    All better now

Nice turnaround with such a mild polish! Honestly wouldn't have thought SF4500 could pull that out.

    Proved me wrong.

I used your "technique" with the pads and polish and used 8 section passes. Thanks for that thread a while back.
