getting a new buffer and i need help

i am about 80% sure that i will be getting the porter cable 7424xp my question is what pads does everyone think is the best. right now i have been using my dewalt variable speed with meguiars pads but 8 inch pads are just getting to sloppy for me and the big buffer is so hard to maneuver in smaller areas because of the weight, so i have had no problems with the meguiars pads i just wanted to see if anyone thinks there are better ones. im looking for the same cost as meguiars around 10 -20 a pad but if i can find a pad that does the same but maybe last longer than meguiars that would be great.

I just tried out the Lake Country 5.5" Flat Pads on a Lake Country 5" backing plate and liked them. When ordering them in a six-pack they are pretty economical.

I use the Lake Country 5.5 CCS pads on my 7424xp with the 5" backing plate and i am very happy with the results. Originally the polisher came with 6" backing plate and 6.5 pads but it felt awkward so i switched to 5.5

5.5" low profile pads are an absolute must on the PC or equivalent. Lake Country Hydrotechs are my favorite. It's nice that they only come in three colors. Cyan, Tangerine and Crimson. I also use LC Flat pads, white, orange and black should be the colors you use most frequently.
