Sanded through clear
Hey guys, I was sanding to level a chip of touch up paint. It was on an edge of a bumper with factory paint. Sanded through. I know best option is complete re clear. It is a little hazzy. My question is how long would it be safe to leave it alone? Like will the clear start peeling or anything?

Re: Sanded through clear
No the clear will stay the way it is.
Actually there is no clear there and what you see is the basecoat.
You will need to basecoat the burn through and then clear the whole panel.
It is impossible to blend clear coat within the panel (body line).

Okay I hadn't planned on trying to mess with it. Just wanted to hope it would be okay left alone until I can afford a re paint.
