I recently used Menzerna FG400 and griots Fast Cutting Cream side by side with Griots Boss microfiber pad. The FG400 cut quicker but the FCC finished nicer and had longer work time.

Long been an FG400 fan.
I use a brush over compressed air and have a compressor, it's just easier for my as I move around the car

FG400 and Megs microfiber do a great job for me on the rupes 21. Currently working on a 1950 MG TD with acrylic enamal, acrylic lacquer, and unrathane clear coat. I had HEAVY pig tails on the hood "check the show and shine forum for my post" and that combo cut through 90% of it after one 4 section pass while finishing down good enough for most people to agree it was LSP ready.
D300 and Megs microfiber cutting pad are the way to go and work great with a Rupes machines.
The D300 has s long work time and as long as you prime the pad well first you will be amazed with the results.

So many good compounds out their to choose from. Some dust, some are more difficult to wipe the residual residue away, A few that I have tested and tuned and can give a positive review for is Sonax Cutmax, HD Cut, Fg 400, Meg. 101, Opt Hyper Compound.
Unfortunately after using any of the heavy paint leveling creams you will need to polish your work to a high gloss to remove compounding induced marring.
