I use my old 3" MF pads or ones that have failed after multiple uses. That combined with M105, M100, M101, or any compound really will make quick work of scratches.

I also use a hand applicator. I've always wondered about the Mother's Powerball for Paint they use to have (may even still have). It, to me, seemed perfect for something like polishing under door handles.
I avoid the issue all together by not fully inserting my hand through the door pull to open the door. Trying to train my husband to do the same with his car is proving to be a challenge.
I always use an unused foam applicator and my 2nd most aggressive polish and start out with normal pressure and go from there. I've found this to work best, good luck Monica

Thx gang! I'll be giving it a whirl here today or tomorrow. Sucks that is came for the dealership that way, but I could't tell them what to do before I had the car.
