Hi and thanks for posting such an informative article. I am new to polishing and have purchased a Flex 3401. Are the techniques and speed settings that have been used with the PC 7424 in this article the same that would be employed when using the Flex 3401? It seems that the PC has a lot more information, that would be of particular interest to a newbie, written about it.
Thanks for all feedback.:buffing:

I have a car lined up for a Flex 3401 Extreme Makeover. It's not a fancy car but here's what it is... it's a car with an absolutely thrashed clear coat finish!
This swirl shot doesn't even do the true condition of the paint any justice...

There's a surprise for this EO too...
So hang tight... the write-up is on the way...

It's actually dark blue, the flash of the camera is washing out the color. I don't' have a full-on shot yet but will soon. The car was here for another project and I noticed the paint was absolutely thrashed so I'm going to have ti back for an extreme makeover.

Sound like just what the Dr. ordered. When do you think the video will be ready?
A dumb question though, what is an EO?

Whoops, was thinking Extreme makeOver and typed EO when I meant to type, EM for Extreme Makever.
Not sure there will be any video, but there will be pictures.
