I'd imagine just about any silica based coating would be fine, no? Gyeon, etc.

I was thinking Nanolex Si3D HD.

Would you suggest Rupes yellow pad or Carpro Glosspad?

    Re: Any CarPro Essence Tips?

Well I finally am doing my detail this weekend.... yesterday was the bulk of it and I used Essence.
Took all of your advice and the directions on the bottle and used it SPARINGLY. Used it with a polishing pad after using Menzerna 400 on some panels that needed a little extra love. Used both the Flex and Rupes Mini on medium.
Results? Easy on and off and lots of gloss. I still need to top it with Reload, but I'm pretty happy with it overall

Now hopefully it holds up well.

I never could get essence to work well with me
Always left residue that wouldn't pick up with towel
    .just smeared

I'm now using an alternative to essence and it works well, not finicky like some.of.carpro stuff..

You are likely not using the product right as it is pretty much always easy to remove. You do NOT want to prime the pad, and use very minimal product. You also want to heat it up a bit (speed 3.5-4) on the rupes for a pass before backing down the speed for 1 or 2 passes.

Let see some pics Monica. Just finished this one up last week, I love this car.

    Re: Any CarPro Essence Tips?

Used Reload yesterday.... again, super easy to use.
With the Essence, I used both machines on 4. No pad prep and only a few dots of product. That seemed to work perfect and wiped off in a snap.

Sadly all I have are some inside shots right now...
