I've searched for a similar thread to no avail. Which products are responsible for cutting your work time significantly? Also, feel free to include procedures, principles, and tips on physiology which lead to a spike in efficiency.

To cut down on car washing time, a foam gun. I'm down to a one bucket wash now. Rinse car, foam it, agitate, and rinse my wash mitt as needed in my rinse bucket. I then add fresh soap to my wash mitt from the foam gun.

Also using a shampoo that can safely dry on the paint. Now I have no reason to constantly rinse and keep the car wet. I don't care if it dries, I rinse it all off at the end, do the sheeting rinse method and dry.

Been doing that for a long time, I don't really consider it to be a huge time saver.

That sounds great--what (Adam's) product are you using?

SYMAWD: I want to justify a foam gun, you may have done just that! Which one is best (in your experience) and which dry-safe wash do you recommend?

Compressed air is a huge time saver for me. I use it for rinseless wash, interior, and carpet cleaning with various attachments.

Eco wheel cleaner for rinseless is fantastic. I use rinseless to clean windows and wipe down interior if not too dirty.

It probably saves me 5-10 minutes.

I use their car shampoo, but I have had the same results with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss which I use just as often.

Any foam gun should do the job. I have only used Adam's, but it is more expensive than the rest and accomplishes the same thing.

As far as shampoo, see above.

For claying, I changed over to a nanoskin clay towel which saves a lot of time. I use the car soap as lubrication which saves me time and product (which also saves me time from busting out a spray bottle with clay lube).

    DI water.

You don't have to really dry the car. Just let it dry in the sun while your cleaning up your gear.

Waterless/Rinseless washes, FG400, Meg's D108 and D140, HD Speed, and of course a pressure washer!
