stripes, decals removal
well i spent the past 2 days removing the stripes, lettering, from an old police car. i had over 8 hrs on one side, scraping them off little by little.then i got those eraser wheels, and boy they make a mess, but it was a little faster. now all i have to do ,is wait for the blisters to heal. make sure you have several batteries if using a cordles drill.i have 4,and the 2 chargers coulnt keep up. well it gave me a chance to cool off that way. will buy the kit if i have to do another one. have fun folks

I assume they were reflective vinyl. Those are always hard for me to remove because the reflective layer always stays behind. I use a heat gun and sometimes some Goo Gone if it's stubborn

yes they were reflective. and the drivers side being in the sun, most of the time, doesnt help things. heat gun doesnt help much.

Re: stripes, decals removal
I removed the factory hood-fender stripes from my Challenger and it wasn't too bad. The car was three years old when I removed them. I used a heat gun set on low and they came right off. Goo gone got most of the residual stuff.
