Question Navigation and GPS screen care

I have a BMW with a navigation screen that is not clean. What products and cloths can be used to clean and polish this type surface? It has been rubbed in one spot, has streaks. I would like to take care of it better than the last guy and make it look its best.

I would agree and use a mf polishing cloth for application and removal.

Just verify exactly what type of surface that nav screen is before you do it but this should be the right stuff.

To achieve excellence, excellence cannot be rushed. Technique is just as important as the product used.
While my approach takes more time, the results are far superior.

I'd go with Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer. Has some UV protection, and will leave it looking clean.

My thoughts exactly... I actually just used it today on a nav screen and it worked great! Plus its only $4 for a bottle

I use DP Plex-All on all plastic components like that and on my BlackBerry. Anyone good quality microfiber towel will work with that.

The 1z cockpit does a nice job on the navigation screen.

Leaves LCD's looking fresh and new. I also use it on my computer and TV screens.

Re: Navigation and GPS screen care

I would also recommend a screen protector. It is a thin clear plastic cover that prevents scratches and permanent damage to the screen. It would still get fingerprints and such, but should clean up just as well as the actual screen.
