    Re: Meg's 105 & 205 processes

Meg's #105 / #205 are probably my most used products Frosty, I'm interested to read your, and others, experiences with them. Thanks for the thread.

    Some of my observations:
    - #105 is indeed a quick work time! I've found tremendous amounts of dust when I run it too long.

    - #205 I enjoy working for a bit longer, if needed. It is a very easy product and renders great results.

    - #105 seems to be more sensitive to the temperature and humidity. Under some hot halogen lights I get more dust than when I back the lights up a bit.

    - #105 can have paint surfaces that just don't jive with the product! Most recently I tried a Jeep with #105 and could hardly wipe the product off. The #205 cleared things up, but what a pain.

    - #105 works best for me if I keep a clean pad too. Once I see the old clearcoat starting to cake on the pad it's off to the sink to clean. There seems to be a fine line as to how much water I can leave in the pad after cleaning. Spinning dry is a must though.

I learned this weekend that while using the 105 with a DA at the end of your buff cycle you can quickly and lightly run back over your work area and it makes the wipe off easier (breaks it up off the surface some I guess? Not sure).

Great thread because I just got the M105/205 combo. My girlfriend got some M105 for me for Christmas.

Dude, she loves it that I detail cars man. She's real supposrting in this stuff and anything else I do with my car or any body elses...

It was like the perfect price too. We're both in college. I live on my own and I'm only 20 so money is really tight with both of us.

No sister She's an only child
