    Covercraft's DashPad

First of all I wasn't sure where to post this topic, but because the Transit Connect has a very long dash which difficult to reach, we've ordered the Covercraft dashpad/mat in a Navy Blue color which should arrive at the end of AUG. But in the mean time, I'll be hiring a detailer to come in and clean the dash as well as the interior area of the windshield. once this has been taken care of, in goes the dashpad. So about the only thing that needs to be done afterwards is a quick vacuuming of the pad and we're done.

Any thoughts on doing this and what's your opinion of the cover craft products.

Great company..don't know about the fitment. Most are laser measured so it should fit like a glove.

    I’ve been using Covercraft products
for a long, long time. They always
have had the best fitment, IMO.

    •As to their dash pads:
-My Wife credits them for preserving the
    OEM-integrity of her vehicles dashboards’
over the long term. I wholeheartedly agree
    with that assessment.

    The only other thing

    Another endorsement of Covercraft.

I've not used their dash covers, but I have used a couple of their custom fit windshield window shades. Even their cheap ones are great quality and fit perfectly.

    Re: Covercraft's DashPad

Our Covercraft 2020 Transit Connect dash Mat arrived today & we hate it. Cheap, cheesy quality, poor stitching & crappy looking embroidery. Sadly we're not able to return this dash mat so I'm going to make it better myself. As an ex-seamstress I'm going to re-stich every seam. The mat is so flimbize I'm going to have to add another layer of material just to stiffen it up a bit. Then re-stich the seams. The worse part, the embroidery was way out of line and too large. I was hoping for a small slot across the lower edge instead across the entire right side of the mat. Once the mat has been reinforced I'll pull out the ole embroidery machine and stich my own text on the mat right where I wanted it..

Received my new Covercraft sun shade after owing several over the years will excellent fitment.

The sides were short and the top (rearview mirror) was cut so big a huge amount of sunlight came through. The good thing about buying from Amazon is the easy return policies.

Bought a different shield for slightly more and it fit well.

    Great

I have a Covercraft dash mat on the way for my car…

I went with them because the Dash Designs cover I got in 2019 for my Tacoma was what was just described; cheap and cheesy

Hoping I have better luck than you guys

    Re: Covercraft's DashPad

Today, I've been removing part of the seams, taking some measurements and completely removing the crappy embroidery text with a seam ripper. next I'll need to locate some webbing for the underside and possibly a couple of thin plastic strips used to stiffen up the forward edge. Once completed I'll double roll the edge all the way around and stitch this up as well. can't say I'll have this done anytime soon. But at least I'm able to start the project.

    Re: Covercraft's DashPad

I got an email a couple of weeks back kind of reassuring me that they hadn’t forgotten about me and my order was coming up soon

They gave me a projected ship date and a link to check on things

I have checked back twice and each time they have added about a week to the projected ship date

We are into late September now from being ordered in mid June

Not sure what the issue is but it’s getting ridiculous

Hope your remake project goes well

    Re: Covercraft's DashPad

chilly, Our dash cover was suppose to arrive at the end of Aug not the middle of Aug. the issue is it's coming from Mexico and the product is being held up at the boarder customs. if this is taking too long for you, you will have to call them and cancel the order otherwise you may not like what your getting. This dash cover is not like those I remember from the past. really cheap quality and construction. if you didn't order it with embroidery, then you should be able to cancel the order and get a refund I can't because I added the cheesy too large text, which I'm removing now.
