    Re: Window cleaning trick

If I could spend the rest of my life without cleaning another window it would be great. I hate doing that because it’s so easy to spot any imperfections. Definitely the part I hate the most. Followed by wheels.

    Re: Window cleaning trick

Cleaning windows is a real pane in the glass. I started using a magic eraser sponge (melamine foam) on my initial pass to really deep clean the glass and it has really helped cut down the time spent overall.

A tip I picked up from this forum is to clean the interior glass vertically and the exterior horizontally, so that if you do spot some streaks, you know whether it is on the inside or the outside by looking at which direction the streaks are going.

Last but not least, have a good number of clean, uncontaminated, towels dedicated just for glass. Using only a single towel will lead to that towel being saturated with residue and it will just streak the crap out of the glass. I'd say at least 3-4 is a good number to start off with. Also, just personal preference, but I like towels with little to no nap for cleaning glass.
