Pouring from large to small container

I usually purchased the 128oz, 1 gallon, to 2 gallon containers as you seem to get a better bang for the buck. The problem that I've been having lately is when I pour the contents from a large container into a spray bottle (I used a funnel on the spray bottle side). I find that there's always some product going down the bigger container side, that I'm constantly having to wipe up. Is that just the nature of the beast of dealing with larger containers dumping product into smaller ones? I'm just wondering if anyone uses some type of siphon tool or some other tool with better results?

    Cheers!

Myself, I have never experienced this problem.

Use a big funnel, and have your spray bottle secure. That is to say, don't have the spray bottle just sitting on your workbench where it can topple over.

I actually use my vice to hold the bottle when pouring.

When you pour, try holding the gallon with the open spout up on the top side instead of down. It will give you a better angle when the liquid starts to flow.

    Try something like this :

    Griots Garage Dispensing Spout

Or you might be able to find one of these at a beauty supply or restaurant supply store :

    Griots Garage Dispensing Spout

GRIOTS dispensing spouts. Have them on 2 of my gallon products. Perfect for large to small transfer. I have the PUMP dispensers on the car wash soap gallons.

I have faucets that get installed where the cap goes. I don’t see them for sale at AG so I buy from a competitor.
Works great for liquids, not so for gels. Also, there’s no venting so you have to deal with those gulps as air needs to get in periodically.

Third on the griots dispensing spout. Doesn’t waste a drop.
