Re: 303 Aerospace Can Double the Life/Mileage of Your Tire's Tread?
If this were the case, 303 would no longer be in business because they would have either been bought out by Big Rubber or "disappeared" by them. Ha ha.

All I'm saying is that the claim he's making is the equivalent of saying that putting a few spritzes of ONR in your intake manifold every 1k miles will make you not have to change your oil for 20k miles. It's a novel idea, but physics won't allow it.

Might work for awhile because the tread will be slicker than owl poop. Lol.

This would be my biggest fear. New tires which still have the mold release on the tire are slick enough as it is, but covering the tread in 303 would make it really slick; espicially in the rain.
Even if one was to coat the tread in 303, I don't see it lasting more than a short distance. When I used 303 on exterior trim, it never survived the first rain or heavy dew. The friction from a tire on any road surfce would probably wear it off in short order.

Well that’s a bad comparison... I mean 303 is afterall a rubber protectant. ONR in the intake manifold? That doesn’t even remotely make sense.

He says to spray the product and let it sit off the vehicle for 12-24hrs. After that long the product will have fully permeated into the rubber and “conditioned” it. Sort of the same way Hyper Dressing does to sidewalls after repeated longterm use. Stays dark black and conditioned, not slick at all.
Besides aren’t there hordes of 303 defenders out there who claim this product never leaves a slick greasy feel on the surface? Even 303 claims it dries to the touch.
Btw, 303 Aerospace also makes similar recommendations for this product on tires. They even have a video for it. Of course it’s nowhere near as bold as far as the claims, but that’s to be expected.

Here’s the link to the video. I don’t normally go around vouching for this guy and I honestly couldn’t care less what you think about him. But IMO he doesn’t come across as a flat out liar in this video.

It sounds to good to be true that 303 can double the mileage, however, this guy seems to have no stake in 303, and seems trust worthy otherwise. His channel name is,"Sweet project cars," or something thereof.
What are your guy's thoughts?
Also, I just bought new tires from the internet and have them soaking in my garage right now. I suppose that in a couple years, maybe a few, that I will know if this is legit.
Make sure your insurance policy is up to date because on your first turn you'll be off the road and into whatever lies off the road. LOL.
Would I dress my Harley tires sidewalls? Not in a million years, so I definitely wouldn't put a slick compound on any tire surface that touches the road.

But I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts 303 Aero says some where don't use it on tire treads or surfaces. Common sense would tell you the liabilities would be in the millions of dollars. Show me where the manufacturer says to use it on tire teads, I want to be the first in line on the law suit.
