    ***Bump***

If you're reading this and have never joined and participated on a forum...

Take the first step... what I wrote in 2004 is just as true when I wrote it as it is today...

"As the Internet has evolved, discussion forums have become the primary way like-minded people come together to share their passion and their interests" -Mike Phillips

I've actually talked to people that thought "Blogs" would replace discussion forums, then Twitter, then Facebook, and of course "Chat Rooms", but none of these offer what a forum offers and that is

    • Organization
    • Longevity
    • Full size pictures
    • Video Content
    • Functionality
    • User friendly interface
    • Long text articles
    • Established interface - Most "good" forums run vBulletin, so once you're comfortable on one forum, joining and interacting on other forums is easy...

There's other reasons I'm sure but these are just a few off the top of my head...

Yep... discussion forums have become the primary way like-minded people come together to share their passion and interests....

I don't see them being replaced with any other type of interface anytime soon, it's just too efficient for what we need it to do.

Re: How To Register with the Autogeek Discussion Forum

Hello, this is Justin again. I do not understand how to do the forums. I cannot find the forum or anything. Could you walk me through it step by step cause I have looked for it everywhere. I also do not know how to start a new forum whatsoever. I looked at the links but they did not help me AT ALL.
    Thanks for your time again,
    Justin

    Hi Justin Again,

Are you saying you are having problems stating a new thread?

    Hi Justin,

You technically don't start a new forum, you start a new thread...

This article has a screen shot (that's a picture), that shows you where the button is you >click on< to start a new thread.

How to start a new thread & How to reply to an existing thread

    Then add a title....

How to write a good title for your thread

    And type in your message....

A tip to help yourself get great answers when you start a thread
