    CarPro Essence!

Ordered a bottle last week. Received it and was excited to try it out.

Victim: Mercedes-Benz C class. Dark silver metallic paint. Paint was in very good shape. The car was coated with PBL V2. The deck lid had some deep RIDS and some spots that were being stubborn/resisting removal! LOL

I used my Rupes Duetto with a Surfbuf pad and Essence on the deck lid. It cut pretty darn well. The filling properties seemed to be very nice as well. It removed some of the areas on the deck lid that were troubling me. It left some of the deeper/heavier spots that I was not expecting to remove. Little to no dust at all. 'Shorter' working time. I then followed up with a CarPro Gloss pad on the Rupes to finish it off.

Now silver is a hard test subject, but that's what I had on hand. To my eyes, the gloss/shine/reflectivity was increased after using Essence. It also removed/filled some of the defects on the deck lid.

Overall: Impressed. Easy to use, little to no dust. Nice final polish. I will keep this stocked in my arsenal for future use!!

Onto the pics! (again, hard to see due to the color and the paint being pretty damn good to start with lol)

    Decklid before:

    After Surfbuf pad/cutting stage:

    After Gloss pad:

    Onto the hood!

    After Essence:

The rest of the car was polished only with the Gloss pad and Essence. It was then coated with a coating that AG does not carry. (it did not need claying)

    Tires: Adams SVRT
    Glass: HD Glass
    Cleanup prior to polishing: UWW

It is not a very sunny day here today, but you can see the reflection/gloss in the outside shots.

    Thanks for looking!!!

It certainly looks like an effective product. Do you see this being added to your normal product rotation, or kind of a "special use" thing?

That would depend. Some variables will come into play. If I am going to coat a car, then I will most likely use it. If the surface is in need of only a light polish I may reach for it. If it is a 'special' car or a dark colored/black vehicle, I would most likely use it if I am doing a 2 step correction, or even possibly just a single stage of correction (light polish needed only)

It appears to be a good product. I like the extremely low dust. The work time is somewhat short, but that is not a huge issue.

Sorry to give you a round-about answer!

Very nice job. Just when I thought I had enough polishes lol. Looks like I will be getting a bottle soon.

Nice job. Wondering if it will serve well under other coating as you have used it. Only time will tell.

Thanks!!! That's really what I want to find out. So far it seems to have played well with the coating.
