Question Start-Up Detailing On A Brand New Motorcycle?

On a brand new motorcycle, what are some suggestions on detailing it 'perfectly' for the very first time?

For the leather I highly recommend black label natural hide cleaner. The leather on that bike looks identical to a ford king ranch which is a PITA to clean. Black label hide cleaner is the only product I've seen not distroy it. As for the rest of the bike I'm not sure as I've never done a bike but I'd treat it similar to a car

I already completed the leather, I used Chemical Guys Vintage Series Leather Conditioner. I haven't begun on the paint yet.
Was thinking about maybe doing CG blacklight then CG Jetseal 109 then maybe CG 50/50 wax..... not sure if theres a better way to go though.

Re: Start-Up Detailing On A Brand New Motorcycle?

Hi Dispatch and welcome to AG im also pretty fresh here! i am a bit of a meguiars fan for home use so i tend to use their products on my bikes and my customers as i have always have good results and i find the products extremely user friendly and they are quite cost efficient! this would be my starter kit..
megs ultimate wash (or your favorite car shampoo
ultimate compound (for any light swirls/ scratching
ultimate polish or deep crystal polish
ultimate wax or nxt gen wax
    trim detailer
megs metal polish (try autosol or autoglym too)

obviously this is only a snippet from the amount of products and combos you could use but its my two cents hope that helps.
dont forget plenty of fresh microfiber towels, maybe some degreaser, the two bucket technique, some good music, a cool shaded spot, and a good dollop of patience.
your bike will thank you and will look amazing!
My signature is undergoing rebranding, stay put and wait for it.....wait for it..wait for i..ah heck it!
