What products to use?
Hey guys I'm sort of new here but don't post as much. I have a 2013 Plum Crazy Pearl Superbee that has light to moderate scratches and a few swirl marks I'd like to take care of. I have the HD Porter Cable 7424XP but would like some insight on what pads and polishes would do the trick. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Please take some pictures of the defects and post them for review.

They are so small it's hard to. Lol my garage is light up with shop lamps and I either got glare you couldn't really see them too good. They're minor defects caused by a dirty drying towel most likely.

Re: What products to use?
Meguires 105/205 is a great combination
I use the 105 with a white or orange pad followed by 205 on a green or grey pad.

What do you have for chemicals/polishes right now? Anything?
Glen E recommended the Meguiar's Twins and these are very good product for most paint systems. The M205 is known for micro-marring on softer paints.
I'd recommend Wolfgang Uber Compound and Finishing Glaze. Abrasive technology is provided by Menzerna and in my experience these two products work great on all paint system, soft or hard and anywhere in-between.
The Wolfgang Four
As for backing plate and pads, read my article here and like all my articles, the links to the products are embedded to take you to exactly what you want and need for this project.
