^yes, definitely. I recommend using iron x every 3-4 months followed by reload to maintain your coating and prolong the hydrophobic properties. In this case, I simply wanted to "see what if" as I know many of my customers will not do much more than wash the vehicle in between their appointments.

    Thanks for the quick response!

I might just try UK then!

I highly recommend UK. I now offer it as a low cost alternative to CQuartz Finest and am very pleased with how it has performed.

Re: This product is a game changer! - 22ple VX1 Pro Coating

Just to be clear, in your experience its a toss up in gloss, durability, slickness, just a tad different in application, but 22ple vs cquartz uk are the same?

In my personal opinion, the gloss is fantastic with either product, the slickness is as well. Application is easy with both products, but 22ple has the slight advantage. The lower cost of UK easily outweighs that slight application advantage.

Here are 2 example photos... this is the exact same car (which belongs to my dad). The first photo is the vehicle coated with 22ple VX1 Pro. This is OEM paint.

In the second photo, the vehicle has been repainted, and was polished and coated with CQuartz UK.

Now understand that these photos are taken in different lighting conditions, so they are not an exact comparison, but you can see that the gloss is excellent with both products.

Anyone apply a second coat of 22PLE >48h after the initial coat?

Upon my initial application, I did a 2nd coat to all horizontal surfaces (hood, roof, trunk) approximately 7 hours after starting the first coat.

The only reason I did this was because I had plenty of product left over in my 30mL bottle. I did not notice a difference in durability or gloss between the areas with 2 coats or the areas with 1 coat.

That's basically why I asked: I have half a bottle left. I may use it on some of the more high impact areas because I'm not sure it will last another year in the bottle before going bad. Don't know...

Haha that may be the best question of all...

Is it "twenty two pull", "twenty two pee-el-ee", etc
