    High End Wax

When I get the ball rolling next year I will be charging $50 for a wash and wax $65 for trucks vans and SUV. Price isn't absolutely concrete yet but in that area. That being said I do want to use high end wax, I have little experience with high end wax. However, I've been doing lot of reading and a lot of you guys are saying prep is the most important part of making your wax the best it can be. If I'm doing just a wash and a wax than why use expensive wax when an ordinary wax will look the same, there's no prep? I had an idea though... Would Pinnacle XMT 360>High End Carnauba(still deciding)>Instant Detail Spray..... Would it work well? Would XMT 360 be enough prep? Thanks I'm also trying to pick out a carnauba wax for my service. Help with that would be great too thank you for reading

I wouldent bother with a high end wax for a 50-65$ detail.

I wouldn't either...if your just doing a wash and wax you don't need an expensive wax...there are several less expensive that will give you a nice shine.

Once you get going you will want a wax that is easy to work with and that is cheap.

Expensive wax will not make your work look any better.

You might want to look at DG 501 as a 1 step paint cleaner with great protection and looks. Easy to apply and remove, cleans paint very well, protection lasts long and looks great.

Prep makes the pop, not the lsp.

    Ditto...
I would offer a detail with a product like Liquid Luster or Jax Wax (professional appearing packaging) for the price you quote, they are both are OK products. Then offer them "upgrades" to Megs, Mothers, PoorBoys, etc. for just a few dollars more.
