WGDGPS 3.0 last a long time

My IS300 has super soft paint and the hood gets weapons grade hot (big turbo under there). these usually mean that waxes and sealants just don't last very long. but WGDGPS surprised me.

I have been building up free samples with every order and have a ton, so i finally decided to apply it after a light polish and wax to prepare for winter back in september - october - ish. I used and i was amazed at how easy it was to apply and remove. My normal goto sealant is DP poli-coat (which is still an awesome sealant, don't take away from it) is considered pretty darn easy to work with, and the DGPS was significantly easier than that!

The shine it gave me was unbelievable. I finished it and just sat and stared at my car for what must have been a long time, my girlfriend told me i had to come back inside.

i have done nothing but a couple of bucket washes when the weather got nice, and i did it again today, this is the first wash since january and i was thinking that the wax was going to be pretty toast, boy was i wrong.

    check out the beading:

and it still has a great shine to it:

we are going on 5-6 months or so and this stuff is still looking great and beading water like a rabid cat. Great product guys.

I might have a new favorite, and 40 less dollars in the near future

Deep Gloss Paint Sealant does last quiet a long time. It is my go to back up sealant.

    Car is looking sweet!

    I've found that WGDGPS is:
Also very heat resistant and long-lasing for under-hood applications, where there may be SuperChargers involved, as well...

WGDGPS is by far my favorite sealant. It's amazing how easy it is to work with, and lasts so long.

Glad to hear that WGDGPS 3.0 lasts a long time. What other sealants/waxes have you compared it with besides DP poli-coat?

I too have been collecting the samples like you did.

    BTW, your car looks great!

Re: WGDGPS 3.0 last a long time

    Thanks for the compliments guys!

I have decent experience with a few other sealants, 3m showcar (i used this for a looong time and i still really like it but it's a dated formula), Poorboys sealant (looks GREAT, but doesn't last any longer than a nuba), NXT (i used it a few times and gave up on it. the look is nothing special, durability nothing special.. it's just there).

as mention DP, which also has excellent durability but a little more of a glassy shine than the deep shine of WGDGPS, as mentioned before easy to work with but it's really hard to beat for 20$.

that's it really for personal experience. it wasn't but a few years ago that i quit using the 3m. it wasn't that i was unhappy with it, but because i figured after 10 years someone might have come out with something a little better and decided to try some other products, i found a few i liked more

    of what i have tried:
    1) wgdgps
    2) dppc
    3) 3m
    4) poorboys
    5) nxt
