Shop vac or metro vac'n'blo
So the title says its all, I was looking for a new vacuum and I'm kinda stuck. I already have a shop vac but its old and seems to be losing suction. I've been looking around and I can get a 6.5 horsepower shop vac for around 120 dollars. The metro is 4 horsepower and for the full size it is 250 dollars. It does however come with a few more tools but the shop vac has the ability to suction water after I would shampoo the carpets. Also the shop vac only has 8 feet of hose compared to the 24 of the metro. I also dont want to forget about the size but for me its not really that big of a deal that the shop vac is larger.
So it seems that I can get a larger motor and the ability to suck wet and dry for about half the price of the metro, is the metro worth the extra money and if so why?

For what it's worth, here's my review of another model you should consider:
