hex logic pads? is it better than LC flat pads?

As the title says, has anyone able to use and compare these pads with LC's? How does it do with a DA polisher? Thanks.....

Re: hex logic pads? is it better than LC flat pads?

I have a few for my G110v2, one each in orange, white and black. I feel like they work the same, but one thing I have noticed is that they run cooler when worked with heavier pressure for compounding/heavy polishing. The LC flat pads will sometimes get puffy spots from heat whereas the hex logic pads don't.

I noticed Cosmintx using them often in the detailing work he does (on high end stuff) so that's what gave me the idea to try them. I'll be putting them to use again today on a new, black 5.0 Mustang that unfortunately got the premium DISO so we'll see how that goes.

They're manufactured by Buff and Shine for Chemical Guys. You probably won't find many reviews over here, as they aren't sold by AG. Best place to get feedback would be over at Detailing World - the hex-logic are the most commonly-used foam pads over at the UK.

Try this google search - seeing a number of results comparing them Also a lot of reviews of the hex logic by themselves.

have not used them, might want to ask on the AG sister site autopia as they sell chemical guys, good luck, and remember most pads branded by a company are made by another company specializing in that product.i wish there was a video showing how these things are made that would be interesting...

i use them a lot , but i find difficult to get them in deals. most places give them 6 as package and they don`t let you choose the pads u want...
as correction/polish , they do well , just keep the pads clean , the hex foams can damage easy when buff around badges or any non flat surface ( wipers spray, chrome trims that are out in profile etc)
i would say i like them but because i can`t get them at the quantity and price i want , i start stock white lc pads.
if you detail 1-2 cars than is worth it , but if you detail for living than get something easy accessible like lc pads or meg where you can buy as many as you want and any color you choose and with great deals most of the time.
