Winner Review! Migliore Primo Carnauba Wax

As some of you know I won a giveaway on AG it was Migliore Primo Carnauba Wax.

Here is a review on my first time using this high end carnuba wax.

I applied it to the wifes 08 liberty and my 97 vette.

Started with a foam wash on the wifes Liberty

The wax is very high in carnuba and it has a very different fell than most soft paste waxes. This wax is very hard, I let it sit in the sun to warm it up. This makes it easyer to get the product on to the applicator.

Per instructions it states to rub applicator on surface to warm the product so it will transfer to the applicator. It fells like no product is getting into the applicator but it is. This is a good thing, very little of this wax is needed. As you can see it goes on very thin and that is what is recommended. You may think I need more but hold back that impulse. Once I had wax on the applicator it was easy to just lightly add more with a couple of quick light swipes.

Here is a pic of how little it took to do two cars.

My process was to apply to two panels then return to the first one to remove. This worked just fine, Removal was done by hand with a MF. I notice that it did remove with very little resistance. I did notice a little streaking but w quick light touch over the panel again and all was good. The feel of the MF on the paint was not like glass, you could tell that it was leaving a nice coat of protection on the paint.

After the paint is buffed of I do have a warning. You will need a pair of very good sun classes to protect your eyes for the great shine.

A couple more of the Jeep then on to the pic of the Vette

    Jeep all done

On to the Vette, I left the vette in the garage for waxing. The wax again was warmed a little in the sun and on to the task of applying it by hand. This is a slow process but well worth the results. Two panels at a time and them hand buffing with MF. The hood was first, wow , as you can see the hood looks wet. This is one very nice carnauba wax.

I fold the MF into a squire so I can keep using a fresh side, for a total of 8 fresh sides. About one side per panel.

    Back deck

    Back end of vette

So, here is my take on the Milgliore Prim Carnauba Wax.. If you are looking to treat a car to a high end wax, this one is very nice. You will have to work a little harder than you would with the ones that you apply by machine. It is well worth the time and effort. The shine is just amazing. The wifes Liberty is a DD and it is parked out side all the time, the vette get the royal treatment. Garage Queen...But I do drive It very chance I get. So durability will be tested on the Liberty.

Hope you all enjoy this review, please make comments, I can take the abuse...jking

And thank you again Nick and AG for the product Giveaway.

Congrats on the win. Nice job on both vehicles. They look great. Did you do them both in one day? Musta been tired after you finished. I love the sunglasses picture. Very clever.

Yes I did both at the same time, It was alot of work and I needed a cold beer after. I was very happy about the results. My wife looked at the picture of the sun glases and wax and told me I have a mental issue.....

    Thanks for posting your comments,

    The results look really great!

But the most important part of the review was missing.

How does it smell? As an example whenever I open up a can of Fuzion I always take a sniff.

It always smells so good I can't wait to get to work waxing!

Does the Primo have a great scent too?
