Re: Collinite #845: The Definitive How-To Guide For This Legendary Wax
Thanks for info I have a bottle on its way. It seems as though this the only wax all can agree on so I thought I give it a try

Great! I just put on a second coat today over my HD Speed correction.
Apply thin, which is easy to do, and wipe off any time.
(Truth be told, I was so wiped from an all day detail yesterday, I missed the removal on my tailgate. Today, it wiped off effortlessly).
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

I used 845 on my shower cabin glass yesterday. I love when stuff cleans itself.
Excellent written guide Nick, which still holds even after so many years!

I bought the two 5/5 inch pads are recommend for the polish and wax.
-Single 5 1/2 X 7/8 Inch Hydro-tech Crimson Finishing Foam Pad
-Lake Country Hydro Tech Tangerine Light Polishing Pad, 5.5-inch
Since I don't have an electric buffer, is there a polish/wax pad handle someone can recommend that goes with these pads? Thank you.

Looks like AutoGeek sells the 3" version, I bet they can also get you the larger version linked above...

Re: Collinite #845: The Definitive How-To Guide For This Legendary Wax
I know I'm several years late to the party here, but I signed up to thank Nick for this great guide! It was my first time using 845, I'm trying it out this year as my pre-snow wax for winter up here in Canada.
The tips for pre-warming to liquify and to only apply an ultra-thin coat were fantastic, I put a flip-top lid on the container and applied by hand with a Meguiar's foam pad. Removal seemed very similar to Meguiar's #16 that I've used in the past: if you put it on too thick, prepare to be punished when it's time to remove it!

Used 845 for the first time today. Last week, I put a layer of Zaino Z2 on the A6. Today, I put a layer of 845 on top of that. Followed the directions as expressed at the beginning of this thread. Excellent directions by the way. Super easy to put on using a foam pad. Super economical. Did 2 panels at a time. Spread thin as all have directed. When I finished the 2 nd panel, I then wiped off the 845 from the previous panel. Super easy to take off. Though, I don’t find the shine to be any different than the Z2. Decided to put it on the shower glass as well in the Master Bathroom.
