    Meguiars foam pads?

I know most of you are going to tell me to get some LC pads but as of now i can only get some meguiars pads locally! For those of you that have used them, is there a differance between the beige pad and black pad? Both are finishing pads but here on AG it says the beige has no cut while the black one does! Are they both the same or are they actually different?
    Hi !

    Which pads?

    The Soft Buff 2.0's?

If memory serves, the Beige pads are the older color for applying wax while the black Meguiar's is also for applying wax. The new Meguiar's Soft Buff 2.0's are Maroon/Yellow/Black, while the old ones are Maroon/Yellow/Beige.

I use the Maroon only for rotary (you can for PC but not recommended....) and the Yellow for polishing and finish with a Beige/Black for waxing (I also use for cleaner wax for extra polishing then an LSP).

I also have LC pads and like them, but have the 2.0's for my rotary as my PC doesn't seem to want to spin them to well on my G100 with my expertise level, or lack there of.....

The black pads actually are softer and have a finer texture than the older beige ones.

I actually have and use more Meg's pads than anything else; I like 'em.
