    Question about cleaning spray bottles....

I feel I thoroughly clean the bottles, but is there a way to get rid of the lasting smell of the product? I'd like to use these spray bottles with different products.

I think only time will work to get rid of the smells. Its like the smell leaches into the plastic.

After washing them out, do you allow them to fully dry open ?? I think it helps some.

Sounds crazy but stuff them with newspaper and let them sit for a couple of days, then ofcourse take out the newspaper and re wash. It works with the plastic ziploc storage containers why not spray bottles.
