Help with Pinnacle Souveran paste wax

I just posted the results of my latest detail here My 2007 Yukon XL Denali

Overall I think it turned out very good and I was able to virtually eliminate all noticeable swirls.

My only concern was with the final wax. I applied the souveran with my PC7424 and grey pad. I removed by hand with MF towel and buffed with MF towel.
In the sunlight, I can see what looks like oily/shiny streaks. Buffing with an MF towel seems to just move the streaks around but I can't seem to really get rid of them.

Here's a pic although I'm not positive if you can make it out clearly. The streak on the right is just the contrails from a jet but the one on the left running through the reflection of the palm tree is what I'm talking about

Has any other souveran users experienced this? And if so, what should I do? Should I just try some detail spray?

    Thanks

I've run into that same kind of problem, but with M26 paste. If was gone after I washed the car the next week. My guess would be that the oils in the wax need to evaporate and your streaking should be gone after that. You might want to just go ahead and QD the car. I'm betting that will probably get rid of the streaks.

Wipe very softly with a little spray detailer and it should remove the residue...

Thanks for the suggestions. I did a very soft, slow wipe down without QD. I'll see how it looks tomorrow in the sun and if I still see streaks then I'll do it again with QD

Some of it may evaporate by tomorrow. I think maybe the MF you used may not have been 100% clean. I find that when a stubborn oily residue does not easily come off, it is because the towel that is being used to remove it, has too much residue on it, even if it is just a little bit.

QD should break up the residue, and when wiped down with a freshly clean MF, the residue will be gone.

I have learned not to dry my MF towels with fabric softner pads etc. Some can leave behind after product in the towels which get transferred to the car and can produce streaks.

apply by hand, buff off while damp. No need for buffer, and you can control the amount applied easier IMO>
