Did some house keeping on my GTO

Being that business slows this time of year I figured it was a good time to do some cleaning and a coating application on the wheel wells and calipers. Being that I just got the car back from the shop after the winter upgrades were installed it needed a bath anyway so I proceeded with getting the wells prepped and coated too.

I worked on one side of the vehicle at a time over the course of a solid day. For cleaning I gave the wells, suspension and calipers a healthy dose of LATA and then agitated with a brush. Then to help add a bit of cleaning power I used my steamer to rinse and help get into the nooks. Then followed up with a prep wipe. IGL Wheel was applied to the plastics, calipers and suspension parts via air brush. The end results were just what I was hoping for. And I will say that since application road grime rinses out much easier.

I still need to clean and paint the caliper brackets and rotor hats but overall it looks much nicer now.

Looks nice. I need to detail the wheel wells on my Camaro, that's going to get done in spring.
