Re: Need recommendations for a detail spray (QD) that has UV protection
Here's my take....
Trying to add any "substantial amount" of UV protection using a spray detailer, waterless wash, rinseless wash etc., is really useless.
Instead, get the car/paint clean with one of the above and the use this,
Patented UV Protection - Optimum Car Wax - by Dr. Ghodoussi at Autogeek.com
Even if you spray it onto the panels that are most affected by the sun i.e. the hood, roof and trunk lid, you'll be doing more to provide some level of "substantial protection" then you'll ever hope to leave behind on the surface using one of the other options discussed.
My two cents...

Good stuff... easy to use...
Products that are easy to use make using them “often” easier.

I have been using Car Wax and Optimum No Rinse Wash and Wax as a rinseless and mixed as a QD which also has Car Wax. Every little bit counts.

What about Foam Cannon.. can you just foam cannon and wipe dry ? I got the spray but this looks like another option I may use if i get the paint a little extra dirty.
