Hope this is posted in the right place,
So I had a 2014 Mercedes black in color come in for paint correction and I used a DE Walt 849 with a wool pad and compound I then followed it with a black foam pad with the same compound then I tried a makita bo6040 with the black pad and same compound and noticed it had swirl marks very fine still so I changed to my flex 3401 and I noticed I still have the same problem yet if I take my Porter cable 7424 with that same pad it will look perfect why is this that the flex and the makita are both causing swirl marks this is happened on A brand new Chevy Colorado and a late model Corvette any suggestions are appreciated..

It used to not be this way I used to change pads after the using a makita or flex to another black pad and put my wax and be done with it..
