67, 8, and 9 with the hidden headlights were RS option cars. The RS Option for 68 was code Z22 and there were more than 40k of them made (I had to look those facts up in my Camaro White Book)
DaveT435 - The 70 1/2 and the 72 were basically identical. The split bumper (Ironically the same Z22 RS package) was an option for either year too. One fact most miss when they cut their full bumper trying to make it look like an RS is that with a real split bumper the turn signals are round and above the bumper as in your pic, the full bumper cars got rectangle turn siglnals below the bumper. When I see a split bumper with the rectangle signals it just screams out at me. Hope I dont bore you all with Camaro facts. lol

Re: 1972 Camaro SS - OBSSSSD Show Wax
Looks great! I have a 67 SS/RS myself. Easy way to tell that's a 68: it has the fully black headlight covers (they switched to a different pattern in 69), and it's not a 67 since those have two extra little windows that pop open right in front of the passenger and driver front windows. Just FYI ; )
Anyways, actual question I wanted to ask: did you wash it down with a hose / 2BM? I haven't don't so on my 67 because I'm afraid to get water everywhere and introducing an opportunity for rust. Curious what your approach was?
Thanks!

Yes - I used all OBSSSSD products on this specific vehicle. This was a respray, but with very soft clear.
I wouldn't hesitate to use the 2BM on your own - just read on it before hand, watch some videos, and be confident during the process. If you take your time use quality processes (and products to an extent), you'll have it cleaned without damage!

Thank you! I plan on posting some more of my work here soon... Been lacking a bit lately.
I shoot with a Sony A6000. Sigma ART lenses, or the Sony 55-210. There was lots of restrictions with shooting this car (space, surrounding areas, etc) so I made do with what I had!

Thanks Mike!
I must admit, this photo was taken after just the correction on the hood - the fenders (including the tops of them) hadn't been fully composed & final polished yet.
Goes to show that while this expensive wax made the paint soooo wet - a proper compound and polish really are what makes paint shine!
