    Still have swirls

Hi all, I'm using a da with lake country orange pad and meguiars m105 and 205. I hit my hood with 105 then 205 and still have some swirls going on.after using 105 the swirls should be gone right? I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I'm pretty frustrated with my results. This is my first time using a da.i used the microfiber towel that came in my mothers clay kit, could those towels put scratches in the paint? They sure make it easy in the videos I've watched lol. I don't know if I'm using too much pressure or if the spot that I have oxidation is that the clear coat is shot.

Was that panel ever repainted? From the pic the paint looks lifeless

I was wondering the same. Looks like the trunk shows a much better reflection.

No comment on that drivers side window.

    Re: Still have swirls

It was like that when I bought it so that's what I'm thinking, it was probably repainted and horribly I might add. Doesn't have any gloss to it. I thought it might have been oxidized. I will bring to auto body shop soon to see. For the rest of the car would it be best to just use the m205 to get rid of swirls that I can only see if I'm looking for it in the sun or under light. The 205 will take out swirls right?
