Best way to clean dash and interior trim

    Hi all

I have a brand new car and noticing the dash is attracting dust at an increasing rate.

I used a damp microfiber cloth to just wipe off the dust but it didn't leave a clean finish.

Can anyone recommend a product or hints and tips for cleaning and maintaining?

    Thanks!

For me, the best method I've found to reduce dust accumulation in my interior is to use an interior sealant. There are several good ones out there... but I use Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant.

Maintenance with a damp microfiber cloth is really all that is necessary after using it.

To prep all of the interior surfaces prior to applying the sealant, I like to use Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel.

These two products make an excellent duo for cleaning and protecting interiors.

I have used this for years. Fantastic product. After 5 years, my interior still looks great. And it also has a light cleaner in it. Apply it with any MF or I use the Sonax applicator. Perfect for interiors.

Meguiar's Quik Interior detailer. It works great as a light cleaner and leave some protection behind.

I also vote for Meguairs Quick Interior Detailer. It is available at Pep Boys and it cleans and protects without leaving too much shine.

Personally I hate cleaning and then sealing/protecting the interior. I also vote Meg's QID since its like an AIO

So many choices. Like using a bucket of ONRWW and soaked micros. Clean everything with it including glass. Any thing shiney you need to dry. I was a QID user but I thru out my last gallon because of the over whelming vinegar smell. Will not buy it again.
