Wow, what a bummer. Sucks about the Gloss Coat funeral.
I haven't had those issues with cars I have done using Gloss Coat with well over a year on them.
I don't want to start anything but could it be from the Essence used as a final polish?

I love and still use DG501 myself, Richy, so I know what you mean. Looks great again.

Indeed. Still looked the same, smelled the same and performed the same. God Bless Duragloss!

I honestly can't answer that. Could it be? Maybe. I tend to work it a long time, so I think it minimizes the effect it could have underneath, but I'm not qualified to answer the question. It's a valid question. I'll tell you this though: NO question whatsoever that 501 vastly improved the look, feel and repelency of the Gloss Coat!!

501 is the beez kneez!
My DG stuff is running low, which also means that there are some well protected vehicles out there!

Hey Richy!! As you know I am a Nuba fanatic!! I live in NE Pennsylvania and acid rain is an issue here! It's the primary reason I still stick with a traditional wax. I have tried all the latest and greatest coatings but all prove an issue with water spotting. Nice to see old school products still kicking ass!!

It's a darn good one. What I'm seeing is it react better to water sitting on it than Gloss Coat does.

Jim, The Feynlab coatings I have had on my old Lincoln were holding up well. I'd be curious to see if 501 bested some of your waxes.

I think you're directing that question at Jim (Dr Oldz).
