And another thought about Hyper Dressing. I stopped using it on plastic trim pretty quick. After the morning due or a rain I would always get streaks running down the paint and that got old real quick. Only use WETS now.

True, it's not very good for exterior trim because of what you stated. I do like it on customers windshield cowls though.. Also works great on rear bumper plastic trim [because it has nowhere to run to]

I tried Perl on tires a few times and wasn't impressed.

I'm not convinced tire coatings are that much better than tire dressings and gels. After trying a tire coating I'm back to using a dressing.

Every rubber compound on every tire is different from the next and nothing I've tried performs the same. The coating lasted well on one tire and on another lasted no longer than a tire dressing on another. The variance was no different than my observation that some tire dressings hold up better on certain tires than others. The variables are almost endless.

Instead of trying to find a coating that works for every tire in my vehicle fleet and go through all the time consuming prep work required to apply it, I'll simply spend the 30 seconds per tire to hit them with a dressing after each time I wash the car. This way my tires always look pretty good and I stay within the durability window of the dressing durability no matter which tire it's applied.

Eldo2k- Never said it didn't shine, it leaves a nice shine, however its not right for me. It's a great product, I recommend it to friends all the time. For what I am after, I have been using McKee's Tire gel a lot so far this year. Also Gyeon Tire is good, I love the look for about 5-7 days, but after 2 weeks I am ready for a freshen up. My go to easy spray is Meguiars D160 All Season Dressing, for me it outlast Hyper Dressing, and gives me the look I like.

I gotcha. I will admit that the shine tones down a bit after the 1st day...

I applied Hyper Dressing to these tires on July 1st. So 12 days and this is what they look like.

Sorry don't have a close up tire shot. This one was taken when I was sitting in my garage, was trying to take a pic of a reflection in the quarter panel, and got this.

I tried Perl at 1:1 on my tires, and thought "Mmm it's ok."

Next session, I used it straight and really loved the look. (I like a deep black satin sheen).

Lasts 2 weeks or so. Perfect for me.

PERL 1:1 on tires and 3:1 for wheel wells/engines. my favorite water based dressing, and definitely a top 10 product in my detailing arsenal. buy a bottle and try it out at different dilution ratios to your liking...
