    DIY hose slider

Take a 5 gallon bucket and cut it off near the bottom about 3 inches from the very bottom. I used a jig saw for this. Then cut it into 1/4's. And done.

    Hope that helps

I knew there was a reason I've been keeping my old broken buckets. Thanks for posting that. I'll try using them as halves first since I have plenty to spare.

Now wish I'd kept some of my broken ones. Great idea and good way to reuse an item.

These should work pretty well for extention cords too. Was reminded of that yesterday when I was vacuuming out my car and I kept getting the cord stuck under the tires.

Took all of 3 minutes to turn an old 5 gal bucket into 4 hose slides, using a jigsaw...problem solved. Thanks again adamgayton81 for the 'how-to'.

At $14.00 they are definitely worth it and I love using them. That homemade deal made from a bucket looks pretty cool too. Around here we would call that Yankee ingenuity.

The hose slides are nice but these are better.

I currently don't have a set. I view it as a time eater...I need to get my time on a detail more tight.

I'll just go with a few high quality cuss words and roll on! Grin...

Or you could just pour a quart of motor oil on your garden hose before you un coil it. That outta prevent it from getting stuck anywhere. Lol. J/k.
