If what I have doesn't work out or it's effects disappear quickly under FK1000p, I'll try something else. I'll be splitting the rear trunk on the Honda and I'll take pictures after each wash.

Both Poorboys and Prima Amigo will work well under most sealants and waxes.

I like Poorboys Black Hole for it's filling ability and overall appearance, but I actually use Amigo when going for a glaze due to its mild cleaning/abrasive properties. It will work like a paint cleaner and glaze. It also is VERY easy to use.

If you're already pulling out your machines; may as well grab some HD Speed. While it doesn't "fill"; you can literally buzz over the surface super quick and enhance the surface rather than filling. Go over the whole car then remove where you started.

Agree with this. If you're worried about removing clear coat, use something like Menzerna SF 3800.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned CarPro Essence with a Microfiber pad?

I worked on the grey metallic Honda Civic, polishing with Jescar Correcting Compound on Orange Pads. I found with the Flex 3401, that the thin Lake Country worked best with this polish and polisher. Correcting Compound didn't get out all that I wanted the first time, had to go back 2-3 times in some cases. The car still has some faint marks but it think they are deep in the clear. The previous owner seems to have likes brushes and was aggressive with them. Snow scrapers in particular to the point where I had to touch up 2 spots around the window. Car look fantastic in comparison and I'm a critic for sure.

Poor Boys Black Hole went on super easy, darkened a bit, and I'm sure filled where possible, but didn't hide what I could not get by polishing. This surface was just polished so there wasn't much for it to fill. The Jescar Correcting Compound finished down so well, that I didn't need to do a light polish. Black hole on trim (by mistake) resulted in black trim. I was happy so I did the rest of the trim with it too.

I waited 24hrs and topped it all off with FK1000p. Let's see what happenes over time...
