    Good to know!

I must get those new versions then, on a paper it looks like the best microfiber pad there is. Those black longer naps are same than on Buff and Shine i believe, but their pad is way too thick. Uro-fiber is one step pad, Meguairs and Lake Country are good, but matte down more easily than long nap pads.

I sent an email to Griots with all the pertinent information and a photo of my damaged pads. Got a quick response saying 'since we can't tell if they were defective you'll have to send them in.' Screw that. It's not worth my time since the flaw is clearly documented on here.

I'm switching back to LC pads from here on out.

    Hey Brett
Following up with you. Did we get you some replacement pads out? I'm confident you'll love the new improvements to the foam interface.

    All the best to you
    Jeff

PS. Hey All, I've made it clear to our customer service department that you won't be required to send pads back for replacement. The only way that might happen is if I specifically request you to send them back for me for evaluation. In that case, we'd send you a pre-paid shipping label.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Jeff for going above and beyond for Griot's sake. He contacted me the other day and sent me out some replacement pads that arrived today and look like a great improvement over the originals. You are a gentleman and a scholar!
