while it's not terrible, it didn't impress me enough to keep using it after using about a half bottle before trading/giving it away...

Visitor went way longer with it than I did. I still have my bottle, almost full. Used like twice on tires. Did some testing on some trim. Stopped using it after that.

I haven’t used Perl much lately, I still have about half left in my original bottle diluted 1:1

I’ve gone back to Meguiars Hyper Dressing... If I had to describe why I’d say it’s because I feel like D170 is a bit easier to work with + I feel like I can be as liberal as I want with it without thinking about how much I might be using [even @1:1] compared to Perl which is much more expensive and IMO, while it does look fine on tires, doesn’t look quite as good as Hyper Dressing..

It's amazing to me how durable Perl is compared to other water based dressings, especially on tires that have been thoroughly cleaned with OPC (3:1) or Mckee's Tire & Rubber Cleaner. Perl is the best option IMO for guys like me who prefer a satin black tire with zero shine from day 1. What sets Perl apart from Hyper Dressing is that it maintains the same deep black satin finish for over a month and doesn't wash away in the rain. If you are looking for a dressing that is "shiny" on application and stays "shiny" I don't think Perl is the best option.
That’s spot on how I feel about Hyper Dressing. I last dressed the tires on the Kia 9 days ago, and they’re to the point where they stay looking at least this way non stop. They can easily go over a month.

I can’t speak for interior use, as I’ve been stuck on a couple of new interior products I’ve recently tried and haven’t gotten around to trying Perl for that..

It’s not available on AG, but just search flagged tipped brush on the bay and you can find it. It’s the only applicator I’ll ever use and I’ve tried alot.

Hey El is that brush soft? What do you use on low profiles? Sorry I forget your dilution for Hyper is 1:1?

Yea it’s sort of soft.. It’s said to be a body and fender brush that’s safe to use to wash paint, but I’ve never used it for that nor would I.

I use that brush to dress all tires including low profiles, just feather the brush around the tire, if a little bit of the brush doesn’t come in contact with sidewall it’s no problem.

Correct 1:1 dilution on Hyper Dressing.
