Hi folks I'm researching polishers and I'm seeing conflicting specs on this new polisher regarding max opm's I've seen 8400 9600 and some pics of 5400 on the plate on the tool . Which is correct ?

Flex's opm's are highly exaggerated. If you think Chemical Guys hype things well lets just say Flex takes it to a whole new level as far as opm's go. 3401 is a 5200 opm machine not 9600 so be rest assured the lowest figures you see are the more accurate ones.

Exaggerated ? Sounds like a flat out lie to me lol . Opm's are measurable lol. Very disappointing news to hear ,but thanks for the reply

Now that you bring up the 3401 Zubair, here is some reading for you. OPM & RPM are different measurables. I don't think FLEX is exaggerating.

There is a dedicated thread by Mike Phillips measuring the opm's per rotation which was 11 opm's for every rotation-fact.

3401 is a 480rpm macine-fact.

Opm per rotation x maximum Rotation = Total OPM.

11x480= 5280 opm.
