    Need advice: Stuborn Salt/Calcium stain

Hey guys, just had an issue yesterday and I am at a loss to find a solution.

My client has salt (or calcium) stains on his carpet. I did my usual process of spraying it with 50% vinegar solution, let it sit a few minutes then use a brush to remove it. In this case it did absolutely nothing. After scrubbing for about 5 minutes and seeing no improvement I use my dedicated salt removal product. Again, waited for the product to work (they recommend 10 minutes on the can) then went at it with a brush... again... nothing.

Finally I pulled out my extractor and sprayed and extracted for several minutes. I managed to reduce on the spots by about 50%. If I was to do that for the entire area that is stained it would take hours.

So, anyone has any advice? From the location, look, texture and color it looks like either salt or calcium. Unless someone knows about something else that looks exactly the same I have to assume it's one or the other (or both).

I'm a newb but one thought comes to mind. Could the salt or calcium have been so concentrated that it actually dyed the color of the carpet?

Went back at it today. Finally managed to get rid of most of it. The issue seems to be the type of material used in this Mazda 3. Salt is clinging to it for it's life. I had to scrub about 10 times more to remove it than I normally do. I think this carpet material was designed in hell to torture detailers that are still alive
