    2007 GTI: Never Washed

This is one of my first customers. A coworker of mine who never washed his vehicle that I cringed over and begged him to let me give some TLC.

I spent 2.5 hours with a Chemical Guys medium clay bar removing the raildust. Used CG lube too. Used a DA and Meg's 105 and 205, finished up with Griot's One Step Sealant. By no means am I using some of the top quality products most are using (yet) but I still think it came out well. I was happy, and he was amazed.

    Nice Work

Meguiar's M105 and M205 are "top quality products"

In my opinion M205 is the most versatile polishes available

Looks great! A nice car like that deserves to be taken care of. I hope you convinced him to keep it clean!

Nicely done! I cant believe it hasn't been washed before.

Hopefully you will be able to maintain it for him in the future.

Great job! When you do a car that hasn't been washed in years, just the wash will yield great before/after shots.

Hopefully, he'll spread the word around work and you'll get more business!

I'm sure your co-worker was blown away. All these years he thought he had a special order off-white GTI.

Looks like it came out great, too bad you didn't have IronX on hand, imagine the "bleeding" on that car!

As far as the products you used, they are very high quality items and it shows. Now when you said you spent 2.5 hrs, what part of the process took that long? How long did the entire car take?

Wow, great improvement. It's funny how a lot of us detailers tell stories about cleaning our tricycles and stuff, basically that we have enjoyed cleaning stuff for as long as we can remember, and then you encounter people as adults who seem to have lived their whole lives without encountering the concept of cleaning.

These are the people who don't wash their car in 8 years, or who throw something out because it's dirty (as opposed to cleaning it).
