Thanks so much Marc. I had a week off work and did 4 cars in a row. I was bushed after that. My hat goes off to the guys that do it every day.

Thanks kindly! The calipers didn't come that way but they were painted well (not like that 2002 911) and I agree with you that they really add something to the look of the car.

    Awesome work.

I always see that you do a second wash with Iron-X paste - how does that work for you? Usually I'll lightly pat down the surface of the car so it's not completely dry then spread out the paste, let it dwell and rinse. Is your technique similar? I never knew if what I was doing was necessarily the most effective way.

Thanks kindly! My method is similar to using the IronX soap gel. I have a Incredisponge (I used to use a grout sponge) and I wet it in my wash bucket and wring it out a bit. I then lay a bead of the IX paste on the sponge and clean the paint that way. You know by the smell that it's working, LOL.

Sounds similar to me! I've been meaning to pick up an incredisponge. I have the incredimitt and it's wonderful. That smell is only slightly less intense than the spray

I always enjoying looking at your work. I almost always learn some bit of information or some tip when reading your posts.

That paint most have been incredibly hard, I just got some Tufbuff wool pads a fed weeks and they cut really well.
