The Evil Transformer Wraps Himself in Finest

This is the new addition to replace the Can Am Spyder that the customer first owned. I detailed it for him here: (this wasn't posted on AG at the time)

    How cool is this?!?

This is the new bad-ass edition. Not really, but to me it totally seems like an evil transformer. (Maybe I don't get out enough?!?) Anyway, it was to get Finest and a one step polish. I also was going to coat the windscreen with Forte, especially to help wash off the bugs. The customer had Opti Guard on the last bike but this time he was getting Finest. He was very impressed at how the bugs would easily wash off with the coating on the paint. I'm sure he'll be even more happy now. Let's see how it looked upon arrival:

The barrels of the front wheels were going to be coated as well.

The only visible flaw was this scuff mark from his knee:

First up was the wheels. The faces got washed with a small brush and Zep Citrus along with a demoted wash mitt and Megs HW which was also used on the barrels. Tires were cleaned with Zep 505.

The bike was washed with Megs HW and my bug sponge on the front. That was followed by a wash of the whole thing and after being rinsed, it was blown completely dry with my Master Blaster. Man, those things are great for bikes!
It was then brought inside and clayed with my CarPro Clay towel. The paint was nice and just needed a one step polish. I chose my small B/S yellow pad + Megs DA + M205. Lovely combo. That was followed with DG Squeaky Clean by hand. Here's what I had in store for the windscreen:

The bike was either polished with the DA or by hand as the space permitted. It takes a while due to the PITA factor. A double coat of CQF was applied. DLux was applied to most of the trim although some got WETS. No tire dressing even though you don't lean it, just to be safe. Here it is after only one coat. I wasn't sure if the weather would hold:

    Some cloud reflections:

    I coated the barrels too:

    Scuff all repaired:

Turns out the weather got even better with some strong sun:

    Thanks for looking! Comments appreciated!

One of the more unique subjects here lately and it looks fantastic...both shine and gleam as well as fun factor! Why not dress out the visible inner tire sidewalls...slacker! (j/k)

Beautiful display, as always my friend!
