    First Motorcycle

And boy was it a doozy! I cant seem to get a nice pic of it under the shop lights (Chrome blinds the camera. I will get some outside tomorrow when the customer picks it up)

    Hope you like it.

    Before (hard to tell)

    After

    Poor condition of the chrome

A little 0000 steel wool and some P21S soap (and about 3 hours total later)

    Bug Splatter from his trip

A little PB Bug Squash and a Pinnacle bug sponge and it was history

Nice work Don! I like the formula wheels hose holder by the way Bikes can be just as bad as doing a car, if not worse sometimes.

    Re: First Motorcycle

    Nice work!

Wow, I see how that would be a lot of work and intricate areas to do. I imagine crotch rockets would be a little quicker with all the fairings and all.

How much time did you have to put into this one if you don't mind me asking?

    Re: First Motorcycle

I had 5.5 hours or so in it. Minor paint correction (one step only on tank and front faring) He didnt want any but I polished the most prominent parts so he could sell it.

I will find out today if a crotch rocket is any better. The same guy is bringing his Hyabusa over to have done when he picks up his Harley! Stay tuned.
