2015 Black TESLA Corrected and Opti Coated
This car was ordered in August and finally came in Tuesday. It was picked up by the owner Wednesday night, who made sure there was no new car prep done, unfortunately they still wiped the paint off after the plastic was removed. I showed up Thursday am. The paint, as expected was trashed. It had to be done in one day, so we agreed on a 'what ever you can do". After 23 men hours, the paint wasn't perfect, but would be good enough for even me. I just can't put Opti Coat on a car that is swirled up. Sorry! Started at 10 am and left at 3:30 in the morning. I also had some much needed help from Gabe Dellinger, who was able to put in 6 hours (from 6pm- 12am). Thanks Gabe!!!!
No pictures of the swirls, RIDS or holograms, but the car was covered in them. There was no time to waste this time.
Did take some befores though.

Products used:

Optimum Prep Polish
PERL
Pink, black/blue foam pads
Here are some after shots. These pictures DO NOT do it justice, the black paint was just beautiful!!!

Thomas, the pictures surely fail to deliver justice concerning the Tesla.
And for the record, Thomas completed the hard stuff before I arrived ( finding the right combos, prep/ decon, etc...) so I just heeded his instructions regarding polishing and all went according to plan.
Enjoyed it Thomas and a fantastic result you delivered!
Talk to you soon,
-Gabe

How much of the dealer damage was done by the wipe down?
How much could have either been done at the factory or by the transport?
Smart move by the owner to bring it to you right away before anything else could happen before it was protected by the coating.
